Thank God it's Tuesday
TGT-VII

The event was held at the Kala Academy, amphitheatre. Thank God It's Tuesday was opened with a messsage & prayer by Fr. Loiola Pereira followed by the St Christopher's Church Kids Choir; followed by Rooted in Christ led by Fr. Raju; then was Jazz for Jesus. Yvette & I stirred the crowd with short messages before each Gospel Band performed. Fr. Valeriano Vas, the Director of Caritas - Goa then spoke a few words about our new project 'Healing Touch' - a Mobile Healthcare project of healthcare for the needy and launched the mobile bus.
After the interval was Glen & Teresa LaRive from the Divine Retreat Center, Kerala accompanied by Faith the Gospel band from Margao led the crowd on their feet, hands raised to the heavens & hearts turned to God, praising & worshiping God. Fr. Loddy Pires, the Provential of Don Bosco's closed the program with a stirring message & a final prayer.( Photo Gallery )

TGT-VI

'Faith Works, the producers of Good Morning Lord, Argam Tuka Somia & Pillar of Fire; presents the fifth of the series 'Thank God It's Tuesday-VI' on 24thFeb'09 at St. Christopher's Church grounds, Tivim; It was opened with a messsage & prayer by Fr. Mathew, the Parish priest followed by the St Christopher's Church Choir led by Fr. Mathew who were simply outstanding; followed by Rooted in Christ led by Fr. Raju who along with this youth gospel band stirred the crowd. All 4 Jesus- Panjim then followed. Fr. Thomas from Duler also sang out to the Lord in dance & drama. Merwyn Caldeira along with Sancho were simply superb. And finally Vigil Lights an 18 piece Gospel band from Mumbai led the crowd into worship. Fr. [18th Nov'08]

The event was held on the grounds of Mae De Deus Church, Saligao. Fr. Lucian Fernandes, the Parish Priest opened the program with a warm & encouraging welcome note. The gospel band 'All 4 Jesus' got the show off the ground for the fifth consecutive time, followed by 23 members of the Saligao Choir led by Nicholas Sequeira who sang two choral pieces; Jazz for Jesus- a Gospel Band initiated by Faith Works introduced Jazz Gospel Music -their first public performance. Finally Shepherd's Voice- the music ministry of the Goa Service Team led the crowd on their feet, hands raised to the heavens & hearts turned to God, praising & worshiping God. Yvette & I stirred the crowd with short messages before each Gospel Band performed. The place was filled Almost every seat on the grounds was occupied. It was simply awesome. TGT-IV
[29th April'08]

The fourth series of 'Thank God it's Tuesday' wherein we went to South Goa for the first time. The event was held on the football grounds of Don Bosco's Technical Institute - Fatorda. Fr. George Quadros, the Rector of the Institute opened the program with a warm & encouraging welcome note. The gospel band 'All 4 Jesus' got the show off the ground, followed by Fr. Nixon D'Silva & his group consisting of Shine & Chime Fernandes along with Elvis Goes. Yvette & I spoke soul stirring messages before each Gospel Band performed. Faith the gospel band from Margao who had the crowd on their feet was next and finally Glen & Theresa La Rive from the Divine Retreat Center - Kerala, took over and were accompanied by the gospel band 'Faith'. Their songs, their messages & their music had everybody on their feet. It was simply awesome. My friends, thank you for all the prayers, support and encouragement you give us. TGT-III
[6th Nov'07]

The third series of 'Thank God it's Tuesday' wherein we experienced the awesome presence of God. Everybody left with the memory of a miracle where it rained all over Goa during the program, but not in the open air amphitheatre of Kala Acadamy on a day in the year that it never ever rains. Every seat was occupied. Fr. Loddy Pires opened the program with a spirit filled speech, followed by the Children (Wings of Joy) who were simply awesome. Voices of Cana along with All 4 Jesus kept the crowd on their feet. Merwyn Caldeira gave a simple yet impacting testimony and sang with deep feelings. In association with The Diocesan Centre for Social Communications Media (Goa) we launched the dramatized audio bible 'Uloita To Sorvespor''- which means 'The Lord speaks' -The Book of Matthew. Finally Fr. Lawrence' Divine Mercy Gospel Choir from Pilerne -19 members led & trained by the renowned Braz Gonsalves enthralled the audience. Fr. Lawrence then said the final prayer that stirred our souls.

TGT-II
[15th May'07]

The second series of 'Thank God it's Tuesday'. It was a joy to experience the electrifying atmosphere at Don Bosco's grounds. I say electrifying because the whole scene of the green football grounds, the many volunteers sporting orange & blue Thank God It's Tuesday t-shirts, the enormous stage; the awesome sound suspended high above the ground and the musicians who led us right into the presence of the King. 'Thank God it's Tuesday-II' was staged on 15th May'07 for the Glory of God and all who attended, went back with love, peace & joy in their hearts. It was a joy to experience the electrifying atmosphere at Don Bosco's grounds. The whole scene of the green football grounds, the many volunteers sporting orange & blue 'Thank God It's Tuesday' t-shirts, the enormous stage; the awesome sound suspended high above the ground and the musicians who led the people right into the presence of the King. Glen & Theresa LaRive from the Divine Centre, Kerala performed along with Fr. Nixon D'Silva sfx (Pilar Fathers); Merwyn Caldeira and the local Gospel Band from Panjim - All 4 Jesus performed.

TGT-I
[17thApril'07]

The first series of 'Thank God it's Tuesday'. It is an awesome sight to see the Kala Academy amphitheatre filled with so many people who have come to experience the presence of God through some very anointed musicians. The place was packed  right till the very end. There were over 2500 people, priests & nuns. Fr. Loiola Pereira, opened the program with a prayer followed by a soul stirring song. Two Goan Gospel Bands 'All  4 Jesus' & 'God's Love in Harmony' performed followed by a 17- piece Gospel Band - Vigil Lights from Mumbai led the people into praise & worship through music. India's leading saxaphonist Braz Gonsalves gave his testimony and performed as well. The backdrop was the Church of The Annunciation, Israel.
